From the Growing Up In Arlington Heights, Il Page: Good morning everybody. 75 years ago the movie serial Flash Gordon Trip to Mars was shown in the Arlington Theater in Evergreen on Saturday mornings. It was later shown on television in the 1950s & 1960s. It is amazing what was considered to be science fiction and fantasy dreaming is now commonplace and is going on around us each day. I wish to draw your attention to a brief part of this episode from the 2:00 mark to the 4:15 mark.
