Please vote in your precinct, on a paper ballot, on election day – its the best way to insure that your vote will be counted correctly, and in the case of a recount, that your vote will be counted correctly again. The second-most reliable way to vote is by absentee ballot, hand-delivered to Chicago Board of Elections: chicagoelections/…/absentee-voting-and-voting-by… We advise against “grace-period voting” (see above) and early voting. Youll be forced to use a touch-screen voting machine because paper ballots are not offered at these times. These machines produce a paper trail that isnt used in the vote counting and may not reflect the votes recorded by the machine.
