From the National Conference: On the basis of parity between the geo-political zones to ensure equality and justice, states should be created. Conference therefore agreed to create more new states namely: [1] Apa from Niger State. [2] kainji from Kebbi state [3] Katagum from Bauchi state [4] Savannah from Borno state [5] Amana from Adamawa state [6] Gurara from Kaduna state [7] Ghari from Kano State. [8] Etiti from South East. [9] Aba from Abia state [10] Adada from Enugu state. [11] Njaba from Anambra and Imo states [12] Anioma from Delta state. [13] Ogoja from Cross River State. [14] IJebu from Ogun State [15] New Oyo State from the present Oyo State.
