From the Southern Poverty Law Center: "The Senate just voted 68-32 to pass the comprehensive immigration reform bill. This is a major step in the right direction. However, the Senate bill lacks too many pieces necessary for it to be considered truly comprehensive. Most notably, it fails to reform our deeply flawed guest worker programs, which systematically exploit & abuse foreign laborers who come to the U.S. seeking opportunity in temporary, low-wage jobs.
