From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch....the grand jury evidence. I - TopicsExpress

From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch....the grand jury evidence. I read or skimmed several of these 23 documents. If accurate, Officer Wilson was indeed put in fear. I wasnt there, but I still believe a warning shot or two in the air may have defused the situation and stopped Brown from continuing to charge. The autopsy report alone is sickening, in more ways than one. Anyone know whether its typical that the defendant in a grand jury investigation be allowed to testify on his behalf for 4 hours with no cross-examination? I know its not a trial. But, isnt the purpose of a GJI to determine whether enough evidence exists AGAINST the defendant to go TO trial? Instead, Wilson had every opp to support his side...but the dead cannot speak. stltoday/news/multimedia/special/reports-and-evidence-considered-by-the-grand-jury/html_c0eae986-9df6-5c91-97a5-d6ca186a12de.html#utm_source=stltoday&utm_campaign=hot-topics-2&utm_medium=direct
