From the college police department: All Oklahoma Public Schools are required to have periodic Fire Drills. Santa Fe South Schools, in conjunction with OCCC, operates Pathways High School here on campus. On Friday, August 1, 2014 at 8:30 AM, the OCCC Office of Emergency Planning and the Campus Police Department will facilitate a fire drill with Pathways High School. This drill should not impact any scheduled OCCC activities. Persons present on campus may hear a few short blasts from a bull horn at the initiation of the drill or witness the Pathways students exiting the building. The actual fire alarm system will not be utilized. ONLY Pathways students and staff will be participating in the building evacuation. The Pathways students and staff will use Main Building 1 and College Union 1 to exit as part of the drill. OCCC Emergency Response Team members will be present to facilitate the drill requirements.
