Good Afternoon!! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM THE WILLIAMSON CO. HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT!! On Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. thru Friday, September 20, 2013 2:30 p.m., the BNSF Railroad plans to engage in repairs to their crossing on Chittyville Road just northeast of Herrin. The work is expected to take two days to complete as work is undertaken to replace this crossing. Traffic control will be in place to advise motorists of the closure. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes while this work is completed.
