From the desk of the Winter Captain: Today is second and final event of the club winter championship. I emplore you to treat the event with the importance that it deserves. This club has a long and proud tradition and to be crowned the club champion should be the pinnacle of your career. Many athletes have come through the doors of this club including such famous athletes as Herb Elliott, Ray Smith and immortal runners such as Harold Stevens, Brian Spurrell, Sharee Sharam, Jeremy Grey and other multiple champions including the most capped Club Championship winner Wendy Grace-Williams, so please either turn up to run or support those athletes that run on the day and make or contribute to the next making of possibly the next great athlete in the chapter of this great club. You will be most welcome and to stay around for afternoon tea.
