From the mailbag....... On April 8, 2014, a husband and wife from Washington State, who are in their 60s, were rescued from a Scottsdale Trail by Scottsdale Fire Department after running out of water and becoming disoriented. The couple wrote an amazing letter thanking the Scottsdale Fire Department with a donation to the 100 Club of Arizona. The couple ended their letter of gratitude with the following, We are enclosing a donation to the 100 Club of AZ, on behalf of firefighters and emergency personnel who risk their lives to save people in circumstances, most of which are more harrowing and certainly more tragic than ours. Thank you Cole family and for the wonderful men and women in Scottsdale that serve and protect us everyday!
