From the time I woke this morning, I have had mama and Wayne on my mind. Its unusual, as I dont usually remember the day that my family members pass away, but it was this day Sept. 1, 1998. I had no idea when I got the call that they had been in an accident that the two of them hadnt survived. What I remember very clearly is the peace the God gave me, the kind of peace that only He can give. I had a clear imagine of mama and Wayne holding hands as they met Him and how He welcomed them into his kingdom. From that day on I have found comfort when those I love pass from this life, it comes from knowing that the suffering is over and they are whole again. Celebrating their life is what became my focus, wanting those who knew them to remember them and those who didnt to feel as if they did. We should all strive to be part of the legacy left by those we love, the best part. Pour into others what has been poured into you!
