From their battles with the radical Islamic Barbary Coast Pirates - TopicsExpress

From their battles with the radical Islamic Barbary Coast Pirates over two-hundred years ago to their current deployments overseas, the U.S. Marine Corps has always lived up to its motto, Semper Fidelis. In fact, even when they’re not in battle, the Marines still inspire. Take, for example, the Marine pilot who, when his jet’s landing gear malfunctioned, landed on a stool. Or the Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter that went down but whose occupants survived with barely a scratch. Or, if you really want to feel humble, think about the two Vietnam War-era Marine Corp veterans currently marching 300 miles from North Carolina to Washington, D.C., in support of their jailed fellow Marine, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi. If anyone had ever asked us if the U.S. Marine Corps could inspire us by singing, however, we would have said no. But a new video, available below or from The Blaze, has proven us wrong. So wrong. The video shows over one hundred Marines joining together to sing Robin Mark’s popular Christian worship song, “Days of Elijah.” The Marines are at California’s Camp Pendleton, participating together in a Christian worship service, and if there’s a more inspirational video going viral right now, we don’t know it is. The video is worth watching just to see what the men do after they sing the lyric, “Lift your voice.” If you don’t smile at that, have someone check your pulse. According to their own documents, the Islamic State terrorists think their faith makes them superior and that their god promises them conquest. We invite them to stop by Camp Pendleton to meet these U.S. Marines and put that to the test. --From Conservative Tribune conservativetribune/marines-singing-christian-song/ https://youtube/watch?v=0MtdyRDy4fU
