SOAPBOX ALERT: So...its been a ROUGH week...For both my immediate family and my extended family: There was the passing of my Aunty Lorraine who finally succumbed to her illness....:( ....The passing of Little Kai Kingston Schmitt, who was taken way too soon, But for which our Heavenly Father has greater plans...And just last night, we lost Papa Gus. I say all that, not looking for sympathy...but to say THIS: We often time take our FAMILY and FRIENDS for granted...Thinking in our minds that they will always be there, yet knowing in our HEARTS, that their time will come as well...We SO NEED to APPRECIATE EVERYONE and EVERYTHING in our lives!!! We get so caught up in our own lives, that we forget that there others that DESERVE our attention, our respect, our compassion, be it family or not!!! If you still are blessed to have your parents...CALL THEM!!! If you have reunited with an old friend...STAY IN TOUCH WITH THEM....Dont let the last thing you said to them be THE LAST THING YOU SAID TO THEM!
