Full moon last night and 70 degrees (A/C on in room this morning). Wind still blowing 30-40 mph...Weird Weather! Also, did I mention the full moon last night? When I shot my brand new Barnett Ghost 410 last night to unload, it sounded like a 300 Weatherby Ultra Mag! Scaredtheshitouttame! Cracked right limb in 3 places...Warranty not much help at this point. So I am thinking how lucky I was not to have missed the buck of a lifetime yesterday and/or impaled myself with a Schwacker tipped arrow AND how pissed I am to be sitting here in the Cabelas, KC parking lot waiting for them to open at 10 so I can drop another chunk of cash on a new spare CBow.... That while Eds out hunting... Only thing keeping me from punting is the fact that we have been seeing and passing a lot of bucks still looking for a couple nice ones....notice we have ratcheted down a notch from monster to nice bucks! Fact is our host told us he thought they lost most of the older bucks to last summers blue tongue outbreaks... Believing it now. Have not seen a 10 point older buck yet.... LOL here in Kansas!
