Full story of Jelsa as requested: 2/2 * * * * * * * * * * * * Elsa tugged at her chains, but they wouldn’t come off. Freezing them wasn’t enough. She had to escape! She had to warn Jack. She couldn’t just sit here and let him get captured. She still couldn’t believe Pitch had ruined her life, Jack’s life, Anna’s life, and her parent’s lives just to prove he could be believed in. And now he was going to destroy Jack Frost, the only one who was in his way for taking the world back to darkness and fear. * * * * * * * * * * * * Jack flew through the night sky. Renewed by his memories, happy that he could remember, but afraid as well. Where was Elsa? What was Pitch doing to her? Jack couldn’t help but feel that it was his fault that Pitch had gotten Elsa… “Jack! Jack!” Jack nearly fell out of the sky. This time, Elsa’s voice wasn’t coming from the cylinder. It was coming from a distance, blown towards him by the wind. “Wind! Take me to Elsa!” Jack swung his staff and the wind carried him away. Jack zoomed through the air calling, “Elsa! Elsa!” Arendelle castle loomed before him. Pitch was keeping her at Arendelle? Why in the name of blue moon was he-? “Elsa!” Jack cried. He had seen her. She was looking out a bottom window in the darkest part of the dungeon. “Elsa!” He flew towards the window. * * * * * * * * * * * * “Jack?” Elsa whispered. She thought she had heard his voice. No… he couldn’t be here… it just was the wind. She continued her struggle with her chains, but then heard it again. “Elsa!” Elsa looked out the window… There he was! Flying towards her! “Jack! No! You have to get out of here! She yelled, hoping he could hear her. “Jack! It’s a trap!” But the voice chuckled in her head, “Too predictable…” “Jack!” Elsa screamed, tears poring down her face, “Stay away! Don’t come! Please!” * * * * * * * * * * * * Elsa seemed to be yelling something at him, but Jack couldn’t hear. All he could hear was his own voice in his head saying, “Get her out… get her out!” He raised his staff and yelled, hoping Elsa heard him; “Stand back!” and he blasted the dungeon wall apart. “Jack!” “Elsa!” Jack landed next to her and stared at her enclosed hands, “I’m going to get you out of here…” “Jack,” Elsa sobbed. “It’s okay… I’m here and I’m never going to lose you again.” Jack began to tug at her chains as well. “No… Jack… you have to listen… you’ve got to get out of here…” “Are you crazy?” Jack stared at her, “I’m not leaving without you!” “Jack, you don’t understand… Pitch-“ But Elsa was interrupted by a glowering laugh. “I knew you would come Jack. Love is such a easy thing to control…” “Jack! Run!” “I’m not going anywhere!” Jack yelled, raising his staff again, “Show yourself Pitch!” “Jack please…” Tears were gushing out of Elsa’s eyes, “Run…” then she collapsed. “Elsa!” Jack knelt down, trying to shield her from whatever force was tormenting her. “Let her go!” Jack yelled. “Oh I intend too…if you would take her place…” Pitch emerged out of the shadows, his pointed teeth bared. “Jack no…” Elsa moaned. “Take her-?” “Yes… I’ll let her go. Give me your staff… give me yourself… and she will be set free.” “Just like that?” Jack asked, staff still pointed at Pitch’s heart. “Just like that.” Pitch agreed. Jack sighed and held out his staff to Pitch. He took it. “Now…” Jack said, “Let her go.” “Hmmm? No…” Pitch said. Jack’s eyes widened but it was too late. Pitch snapped Jack’s staff in half. It was like something ripped inside Jack. “Argh!” He yelled, and dropped to his knees. “I’ve toyed with you long enough Jack Frost…” Pitch said, looming over him, “Time to say goodbye…” Then all went black. * * * * * * * * * * * * The wind was swirling around in Elsa’s hair. She was too weak to get up. Pitch had grabbed her; she was locked in battle with the coils of a devil-like creature. “Jack,” She whispered. “It’s okay… I’m here and I’m never going to lose you again.” Jack didn’t lose her… she had lost him. * * * * * * * * * * * * “Pitch!” Jack roared in the blackness, “We had a deal! Let Elsa go!” “Oh… I’m sorry Jack, I would have, but she’s become an asset to my plan…” Jack groped around, trying to feel his way out, but something silky and strong grabbed his arms and bound them tightly. Jack struggled, “Pitch!” “Should I tell you why? Oh it’s been such a fun sport telling Elsa what I was going to do to you… ripped her apart it did. She’s broken now… but you… you’re still fighting…” Pitch chuckled. “Let her go! Leave her alone!” Jack struggled even harder, but more silky tendrils wrapped around him. “It’s too late Jack…she’s given up…she’s mine…” “NO!” Jack yelled and the same blue lightning blasted the tendrils back and Jack fell hard onto a stone floor. Pitch laughed, “There is no way out Jack… Elsa delivered you to me and here you will stay…” “Stop it, stop it!” Jack covered his ears. Pitch continued to laugh that horrible dark laugh. “Jack, help me! Jack you promised! Jack! Jack, please! Jack! Jack!” Elsa’s voice swirled in his head, then her cries turned to screams. “Jack! It hurts! Make it stop! Come back! Where are you? Jack! Jack! Please come back!” * * * * * * * * * * * * “Elsa, help me! Elsa! It hurts! Where are you? Elsa! You betrayed me! Elsa!” Jacks voice screamed in her head and Elsa sobbed. Pitch was torturing Jack, she knew it. Pitch was letting her hear what Jack was saying. He was torturing her too. Elsa had to get out…the wall was still broken down, wind swirling around the room. Elsa looked down at her hands; the chains were completely covered in ice. She gave an experimental tug and she heard the bolts groan slightly, and then pulled harder. Her hands were coming free! Elsa pulled with all her might and the chains broke off her hands. She was free! Then she heard some people outside the dungeon door. “It’s frozen shut!” “The door!” “Get her!” Elsa ran out the broken wall and into the storm. * * * * * * * * * * * * Jack was shaking, with anger and fear. He had never felt so much hate in his life. “Enough!” he yelled and stood up. Suddenly, the wall of blackness was blasted away and Pitch fell to the ground, exposed. Staring around in disbelief, Pitch quickly got to his feet. “You’re stronger than I thought…” Pitch said, taking care to keep distance between him and Jack, “Maybe I could use an ally like you…” “Never…” Jack growled. “What if it concerned Elsa’s freedom and life? She could be yours. Stay with you forever as we finally make the world believe in us! It’s true she is your only believer? What do you say to hundreds of believers! Eternal fun! We could-“ “No,” Jack breathed, “they wouldn’t believe in us…they would fear us. And besides, after that first ‘deal’, how am I ever going to trust you? Just leave her alone.” Pitch laughed. “I gave you a chance Jack, but it looks like Elsa is going to die after all!” Jack gasped, “What did you do?” “Oh something easy, Prince Hans was willing to do anything to become king and… I inspired him a bit. Hans trapped the Princess Anna in a room, where she is going to freeze to death…” he laughed with mirth, “And he accused Elsa of killing her, and sentenced her to death.” “No…” Jack dropped to his knees. “You’ve lost Jack Frost…” But there was clang and an Australian accent rang through the air: “Release him Pitch, before I knock you cold!” Jack looked up, the room he was in was a cellar and the door was high above him and peering through it, were the guardians. “You heard him Pitch!” Tooth yelled, “Let him go!” “Oh you can have HIM…” Pitch laughed “but good luck having him fight…he’s just a poor, broken Jack Frost.” And Pitch vanished. Tooth flew down to Jack, “What happened, are you alright?” “Elsa…” He croaked, “I remembered, I found her, but Pitch was waiting and now… because of me… Elsa is dead.” Jack put a hand on his pounding head. He couldn’t believe it. He wouldn’t…Elsa…dead? But North said, “Pitch is a liar Jack. We all know that. I’m sure Elsa is still alive, but it might only be now that we can save her.” Jack looked up, “I have noting now. He broke…Pitch broke my staff. I can’t help you…” Bunnymund threw down two thin pieces of wood to Jack, “You mean this?” Jack picked them up in wonder. Could he fix it? Could he put it back together? With his thoughts on Elsa and his love for her, he slammed the two parts together. There was a huge ball of blue light and frost shot from the staff. It was fixed! Jack stood up, looked at the guardians and a grin spread over his face, “Let’s go scare the boogeyman.” * * * * * * * * * * * * “Jack!” Elsa yelled as the wind flung her dress and hair around. “Jack!” “Queen Elsa!” a voice said. Elsa turned to run. “Elsa, you can’t hide from this!” It was Prince Hans. She turned around, “Just take care of my sister…” “Your sister? She returned frail and cold. She said that you had frozen her heart…” “No…” Elsa said. “I tried to save her but it was too late,” Hans said, “Your sister is DEAD! BECAUSE OF YOU!” “NO!” Elsa trembled, tried to walk away, and then collapsed. As she did, the storm dispersed. First Jack… now Anna was dead…Hans was right… It was her fault… * * * * * * * * * * * * “Sandy!” Jack yelled. There he was, floating down towards them, “How?” “Jack, those kids… they turned the nightmares into dreams again. They brought back Sandy.” North said, patting Jack on the shoulder. “Who knew we would be saved by kids, right?” Said Bunnymund. Jack hugged Sandy, “Glad your back. We got a fight with Pitch, this time…it’s planned.” Sandy nodded and smiled. The together, Jack Frost and the guardians raced towards the dungeons where Elsa was…or so they thought. “Elsa!” Jack called, flying into the smashed hole he had made previously. “North! She’s not here!” “So it wasn’t you!” a voice growled. The guardians stood together, protecting Jack. “I had thought that you had freed her…but it appears… I was mistaken.” Pitch said, appearing out of the shadows. Boy, Jack thought, Pitch Black likes those dramatic entrances and exits. “You should go into theatre.” Jack said without thinking. The guardians laughed and Pitch scowled, but seemed to notice for the first time that Sandy was there. Pitch backed away as Sandy glared at him, “I’m sure we can work this out…” He began, but Sandy drew his whips and snatched Pitch. Then he flew off into the air, dragging Pitch on the ground. “Where-?” Jack began. “Sandy’s got it…” Tooth said, “We need to find Elsa!” “Bunny, North, you cover ground, Tooth and I will check the air.” Jack said. The guardians nodded and they all took off. Jack flew through the air, hoping that Elsa was close, that she was all right. Then he saw her. A small figure crouched on the ground, and that must be Prince Hans! “NO!” Jack yelled as Prince Hans raised his sword and began to bring it down. Jack flew towards him as fast as he could, but someone had gotten there first. As Anna turned into ice, Jack threw all of his power into the wind, shattering Hans’s sword and blowing him back. * * * * * * * * * * * * “Anna!” Elsa cried and she scrambled up. Anna was a complete statue of ice, her eyes open and staring into the distance. “Anna…. no!” Elsa flung her arms around the statue that once was her sister and cried. But something was happening. Anna was growing soft and warm again… Elsa looked up, “Anna!” Anna was alive. They hugged. “You sacrificed yourself for me?” Elsa asked awestruck. “I love you,” Anna said. An act of true love can thaw a frozen heart. “Elsa!” someone shouted, that voice was very familiar. “Jack?” Elsa released her sister and turned around. There he was, standing on the frozen bay. He was alive! Without thinking, Elsa ran towards him, laughing, tears falling down her face. Jack flew towards her and they threw their arms around each other. Jack was crying too. “I thought you were dead…” He said. “I-I thought you were dead.” Elsa sobbed into his shoulder. “So this is he?” Anna asked. Elsa and Jack faced her shocked. “You- you can see him?” Elsa asked, mouth opened. “Yeah, I saw him every night as he flew to your window. Saw him watching the coronation, and I saw him at the party. I wanted to ask you who he was, but I never got the chance.” Anna said. “She, she can see me too Elsa! She can see me too!” Jack cried and Elsa hugged him again, but released him suddenly. “What about Pitch… is he-?” “It’s over Elsa…He’s gone… he won’t hurt you again… I promise.” Without thinking that Anna was watching, that everyone was watching, Elsa grabbed him and kissed him. It was the most blissful feeling she ever had. Realizing that this was awkward, she broke off quickly. “Why’d you stop?” Jack asked, smiling. Then he leaned in and kissed her. Then he grabbed her around the waist and flew into the air. “Jack!” “Don’t worry, I’ll never let you go.” * * * * * * * * * * * * Jack sat with his arm around Elsa on a tall pine tree, looking out at Arendelle. With a start, he remembered that a week ago he’d been at this spot, worrying about Elsa being queen, but he had no worries about her now…except… “Elsa? I have something to tell you…” “What is it Jack?” Elsa looked up at him; she still had that cute smile on her face. “Do you know what the guardians are?” He asked, not looking at her. “I’ve read stories about them…why?” “Well, their real Elsa, and they’ve asked me to be one of them.” Elsa sat up, “Jack! This is great news!” She hugged him tight and he kissed her forehead. “Not entirely,” He muttered. “What do you mean?” Elsa asked, her arms still around him. “I’d have to leave you.” Elsa broke off and looked at him, “You…have to choose?” “Elsa, there is no way I would leave-“ “But you have to accept Jack! I can’t be the one stopping you!” “You’re not, it’s-“ “Ahem.” Jack and Elsa nearly fell out of their tree. Tooth grinned and sat down beside them. “Glad to have some privacy,” Jack said to himself. “I couldn’t help but overhear…and Jack, you never let us tell you that you don’t have to choose. You stopped the whole thing before we could explain!” She was laughing now. “Wait, what?” Jack asked, bewildered. “You can be with Elsa and be a guardian.” “I-I can?” Jack looked down at Elsa and smiled. She smiled back. “No competition then.” He said. * * * * * * * * * * * * “Will you, Jack Frost, vow to watch over the children of the world? To guard them with your life, their hopes, their wishes, and their dreams. For they are that we have, all that we are, and all that we will ever be.” North recited from the huge book in his arms. Jack turned around and smiled at Elsa, then looked at North, “I will!” “There you go!” North shouted as everyone clapped and cheered, “You’re a guardian!” Then North picked Jack up and gave him a huge hug. “North-“ Jack gasped, “Can’t breathe!” Father Christmas released him and Jack walked over to Elsa. She couldn’t believe it. She had her own guardian to be beside her. She smiled and he smiled back, “There’s one more thing though…” He said. Then he got down on one knee. Elsa gasped. In Jacks hand was a beautiful ring. It looked as if it was crafted from ice itself as it sparkled in the sun. “Elsa…” Jack said, smiling wider, “We’ve kissed…we’ve fought…and you’ve always been beside me. I want you to stay beside me. Will you be my queen?” Elsa smiled, “Only if you’ll be my guardian.” Jack stood up and placed the ring on her finger. Then they kissed. Epilogue Elsa and Jack were married (though Jack hated the outfit he had to wear. “How can princes wear this all day?” He asked, as he yanked at the collar) and all of Arendelle attended. “Now that everyone knew who Jack was, it wasn’t like Elsa was getting married to an invisible person!” Anna said happily. Anna and Kristoff were happy to see Elsa so happy. Elsa also rewarded Kristoff with a new sleigh and giving him the title of Official Ice Deliverer. Elsa and Jack stared out into the sunset on the balcony they had so often met at. Jack wrapped his arms around Elsa’s waist, “You know Elsa…I forgot to tell you…” “What?” asked Elsa, pretending to be annoyed. “There’s just one problem…” “What?” Elsa asked, now really starting to get annoyed. “Would you mind being immortal with me?” Jack looked into her eyes. “Be… with… you forever?” Elsa gasped. “You don’t have to be it right now. We could do it later…” “Yes!” Elsa cried and threw her arms around him. Together forever…this was better than she could’ve imagined. “But not now?” Jack asked. “Not now…I was thinking…MUCH later.” Elsa grinned. “I know what you mean.” And he kissed her. AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER
