Fun Fact: Going Back to Basics Adversities of Life in the past three years especially made me change my outlook and become the person I am today. Something took place in October 2010 that left me extremely broken and changed resulting in my total change in appearance and my style of living. I was unemployed and so was he and that is what brought about the fact of him moving to Sydney, Australia where lots of other things took place including loss of communication with him until last year when he came back to the family with with a mental problem. His family was behind this and have never been supportive of our relationship from the day it started although they do love our only child we have together. I got myself a job at Vodafone in 2011 soon after his departure to Sydney and set my eyes on a dress from Cue and went I want that dress. Had never gone out shopping for myself and alone until that day when I got my first salary and got that dress. That is what brought about my new image and change in appearance and personality as I went back to being who I am. In 2012, I met friends on Facebook who began asking me when was I going to get back into dancing again. I had no answer for this, just told them in time until I finally decided okay, I am getting back into it and went India and walked into a Dance Studio out there and said I want to dance. I am a self styled dancer who can dance at a drop of a hat but have no idea about sequencing or anything for that matter and he just said join this course once the New Year begins and thus I started dancing all over again and fell in love with Release and picked up the steps to incorporate them into dance moves I was formulating on my own using theatrics. Went ahead to reformulate my dance moves as a Michael Jackson impersonator incorporating various other techniques I learnt during that time and did my own rendition with vocalization a day before I left. I then went on to redesign my appearances and teach my son alongside working with many others tutoring them from school education, to music (theory, pianoforte, dance) you name it, I have done it before going back to the Corporate world for a short stint and getting involved with the Mrs. New Zealand Pageant thanks to Andrew Bignall. Prior to this went in to do a Public Speaking course in front of a television camera (learnt all the ways and mannerisms of presentation including voice modulation which is very different from regular choral speaking) and did an Acting course just to get into Creativity as that is where I always wanted to be. Got one assignment in Acting with the television series Almighty Johnsons and settled down to being jobless again, whiling away time writing poetry and being myself learning the intricacies of Social Networking, Online Marketing and promotion, drop of the hat poetry writing and story telling, searching out unreleased songs of Michael Jackson etc. Honestly, its with people like my family and close associates and friends that I have finally pulled myself together to become the person you know and see as Lady Aiyanna today. I have always been a different kind of personality right from the time I was a child and honestly, I never hesitate standing up along and telling the world, This is Who I am but today its different, I do have a little diffidence while communicating with many because of what happened although I am Free as a Bird when I am in my own world or with people I am comfortable with. You get to see the crazy side of me leaving everyone around gobsmacked except for mum who tells all, I told you so, she knows what she is doing and informs me every step of the way and leaves the lot of us laughing until we are all running to - You Know Where and I just pick my bags and leave silently when I know it is time to leave. I have moved houses in 6 hours, flown three countries with 2 hours of packing, got the bus commuters cracking up with laughter with suitcases in hand dancing wherever I want to even jumping on benches on the sidewalk quite effortlessly wherever I am. Its ESSENTIALLY ME and being a mum, just made me do it a little more and in a better way as I dont want my child to be shy of voicing what he wants and needs to people. I never silence my child but encourage him to speak the truth and this has been so right from the time he has been a baby. We are best of friends while I am a parent at the same time and yes, we kick each others butts as we walk and he also adorns in a baseball cap with sunglasses just like me and a great dancer too and both of us together, well WE ARE TROUBLE.
