Fun day on the Fish Mongo on Dec 4, 2014 I finally had a chance to fish with Capt Jerry of the Fish Monger today. I found another hard core Capt. We left dock at 6:30 am and we returned to the dock after 4:00 pm. I have been on so many tog party boats/charters boats over 35 years. The Fish Mongor has to be one of the tops as far as customer service is concerned. We used white crab instead of green crab. they drove to Brooklyn, NY to pick up several bags of white crab last night. All hooks are sinkers are provided. Whenever I lost sinker/hooks at the bottom, I saw him behind me holding new hook and sinker. They provide only Gamakatsu hooks. Mate John never fished and he was always there when he is needed. I am really impressed and am looking forward to fishing with them soon again. I used Black Hole Challenger Bank 731M to see whether there is any improvement of the rod is needed and I didnt find any. In my subjective opinion,I can not think of any better tog rod than the Challneger Bank 731M.
