Fundamentalist Creationists commit several errors as they maintain their view of Creationism. While claiming that fossils cannot prove evolution, they rely on fossils to prove Creationism. They make incorrect assumptions that the writers of Scripture hold the same perspectives that we hold today. And they incorrectly assume that the Bible intends its readers to take every line as literally true, even when the writer of Scripture himself had to know that what he was penning was not literally true.
