Funeral Arrangements for Joe Dean Fuqua Jr. Jan 2, 1955 - Apr 30, 2014 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday May 3rd at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Russellville, KY with Rev. Buddy Crabtree and Rev. Eugene Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Red Oak United Methodist Church Cemetery in Russellville with Ray Hoskins, Lee Lester, Mattthew Hoskins, Danny Hoskins, Robby Fuqua, and Will Wilson serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at First Baptist Church Russellville, KY. Mr. Fuqua was born January 2, 1955 in Ft. Campbell, KY. He served as an Air Traffic Controller in the U.S. Air Force, and then was retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal System. He was a member of First Baptist Church Russellville, KY. Mr. Fuqua enjoyed yard work, landscaping, and airplanes. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law: Christina Fuqua of Louisville, KY, Lesley and Lee Lester of Louisville, KY, parents: Joe Dean and Carolyn Morgan Fuqua, Sr., of Russellville, KY, brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeffrey and Sara Fuqua of Covington, LA, James and Mary Fuqua of Covington, GA, Jere and Irina of Manderville, LA, John and Ann Caryle Fuqua of Lexington, KY, sister and brother-in-law: Angela and Ray Hoskins of Lawrenceburg, KY, granddaughter: Lucy Lester of Louisville, KY, several nieces, nephews, and cousins Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Russellville, KY
