Funny, how in life, as you age, your perspectives change, you see a photograph, or a work of art, view a movie, or listen to a song, in an entirely different way. Ive listened to this song perhaps thousand times, from the day it was released, and saw it as a rock anthem of the life of a rock star, and by proxy the rock generation. Today I received it as a feed from The Old-School Page, and smiled in recognition, recalling nights down at the end of the lane playing frisbee, (I even remember a mosquito problem then, and at the time I worked for Avon, and EVERYONE used skin so soft as an effective repellent) and synchronizing all the car radios to the same station, and cranking them up! In this mornings session, as I listened, the words of the song took on entirely different meaning, It Did seem like yesterday, and it was long ago.
