Hello family and friends...... It is with our heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our gift from heaven- our son, Dillon. Dillon was born on October 18, 2013 with a rare liver condition called biliary atresia and has been fighting this battle for a very long time. Dillon was a very happy baby despite everything he has gone through. As some of you may know, we have spent the last 2 and a half months in the hospital as his liver began its rapid decline. Try as we might, on October 1, Dillon surrounded with his loving family, took his last breath in my arms after nothing else could be done for him. We sang him songs, said our goodbyes and took prints of his tiny feet and hands for us to keep. We wanted him to stay but knew God was calling him home so we held him, told him it was ok and we will see him again......I am sorry I havent personally responded to all of you who have changed your profile to Dillons picture, posted something sweet, texts, call, etc. I am just so broken. I just want to let you all know that My family and I are so touched and feel very loved that so many people is remembering Dillon and honoring him. Billy Patterson and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
