Funny story. - One of the aids was in here a little bit ago, doing her thing. While she was busy, I said... When youre finished, could I get about a dozen plastic cups, and a Boost? She replied Sure. She left the room for about 30 seconds, and came back with about a dozen plastic cups, but no Boost. Then she told me that shell be right back. I was thinking that shes going to the floor kitchen, to grab the drink. Instead, she returned empty handed, with one of the nurses. We all made small talk for about a minute or so, all the while they were putting on gloves, and positioning themselves on both sides of my bed. Then the nurse reached over to grab my table with the laptop, so she could move it. What are you doing? I asked, to which she said Were going to lift you up. Why? I asked with a very confused look on my face. The aid grabbed my left arm, Didnt you say you wanted a boost? she asked with a serious face. Yeah... THE DRINK! I said... at which we all busted out laughing. The nurse was howling, because she knows me well, and couldnt figure out why I would need a boost up in my bed. But... theyre both tired, its almost the end of their shift, so... LMAO!!!!
