*Funny story here* : This guy actually wasnt even on my list this day. I found this picture from a while back when I happened to be out shooting my spoon-spinners (how-to and in-use videos to come) with my Daisy Model 25. I have placed 3 polished brass washers inside for extra pre-load on the mainspring - which brought the fps up to a nice 390-400 over 345-360. I had already been smacking spoons for about 20 minutes when this male House Sparrow landed about 5 feet to the left of my spinner-set (approx. 30 ft.) to investigate an empty pack of almonds I was munching on. Luckily, I had JUST pumped another shot in and taken aim at a spoon. All I had to do was pan steadily to the right, hold true, & squeeze. Tagged him exactly where Id aimed (& thats a compliment to the gun - not my shooting) and he dropped cleanly where he stood. I was using Daisy steel, and other than the washers the only mod is a hooded front sight and custom tri-dot rear sight. I was frankly just as surprised as I was impressed with the lethality of the BB; range & conditions considered. I have cleanly taken rats & large field mice with the Daisy on numerous occasions - only from about 15 feet - but with laser accuracy. This shot was made from about a third further away and still worked nicely. Plainly put, if you have any degree of small vermin about your property I highly suggest grabbing a 25 as part of your coop-kit - not to mention the HOURS of dirt cheap fun you can have popping spinners and cans.
