Further thoughts and musings for today: 1. I like what Elway said in his press conference today: There is no Plan B. There is only a Plan A, and thats to win a world championship. that about sums it up 2. Im more and more convinced that it is time for Peyton Manning to set sail into the sunset. He gave the Broncos all he could, but his lack of mobility, his passes wobbling more like ducks than like airstrikes and his whole Im going to have to have a talk with that scoreboard guy tell me its time to call it a career. 3. And apparently he isnt the most beloved guy in the locker room either. 4. I think its time for the Broncos to try something bold. they need someone who will instill passion in this team both at QB and at the Head coaching position. 5. that said, its easier to dream about that than to actually find it. At QB Im not sold on Osweiler. Or Zac Dysert . I dont see anyone in the upcoming draft that just sets me on fire and it always takes 2 to 3 seasons at least to develop a young guy. ON the coaching front, Im more enamored with Seahawks DC Dan Quinn than I am with Gary Kubiak. but there are still a lot of unknowns with both.
