* G20 Public transport Summit long weekend (14-16 November) Trains will be one of the best options for public transport over the long weekend. Although South Brisbane station will be closed (with no trains passing through this station), passengers on the Cleveland and Gold Coast lines will still be able to access the city with diversions along the Tennyson Loop. Beenleigh train lines will operate between South Bank and Beenleigh stations. Beenleigh passengers needing to travel to the city will need to transfer onto diverted Cleveland or Gold Coast trains. All other train lines will operate as normal. Bus services operating within the Brisbane CBD, South Brisbane and Cultural Centre precinct will have major disruptions over the G20 long weekend with no normal scheduled services running. Buses will be diverted to transport hubs on the outskirts of the city where passengers can transfer to trains or dedicated shuttles that will travel to limited locations within the inner city. Alternative travel options will be available to ensure passengers are able to get to key locations. Delays, extra transfers and additional walk time should be expected. Ferries will operate as normal. Public transport outside the inner city should operate as normal. Train, bus and ferry services within Brisbane will run to a public holiday timetable on Friday 14 November.
