One has to wonder what kind of America do we want? What do we want to leave are children? Do we learn from the past the good the bad and the ugly and become more than what we are? Or do we use the pass to keep a dark cloud over our nation over our people? It does not matter from which point of view you come from whether youre a Native American, Irish American , Japanese American, Chinese American, African-American, Jewish-American etc. etc. we have to find a way to work together and stop allowing the Media , Hollywood, our government officials, and so-called community leaders to divide us. The truth is most Americans want the same things. We want to have a safe neighborhood to raise our families, jobs and I hope of a new tomorrow for future generations. Hillary Clinton coined to phrase it takes a village to raise a child and it might quite possibly be the only thing she has ever said I agree with :-) but this is true we have to stop being divided long enough to work for the common good. We have to stop pointing the finger and realize we are in this together. I remember when the Colorado school shootings happened and I like everyone else was devastated to think of the horrific suffering and loss that happen that day. However I remember thinking to myself we have lost inner-city children for generations because of the violence and drug use and for the most part it has gone unnoticed. We all carry a certain amount of responsibility to those around us in our community and those who are suffering. We may differ in our opinion on to fix issues that seem overwhelming to all of us. To start with first we should reject those who thrive on division use it for their glory ie the fore mentioned who use it for their election there moneymaking machine đ˘
