GADO is one of my main inspirations to become a cartoonist...a mentor a friend and a colleague...as editorial cartoonists we rub so many people the wrong way. We bring out issues in a thought provoking format.most times leaning torwards a certain bias,solely because cartoons in their very nature are opinionated and subjective.Today he has hurt my feelings as an ardent supporter of Gor mahia,but i am not going to hold it against him.i am a kpl champion now.thats a fact that no amount of hating can deny me.before people threaten boycots and protests and violence.remember that these actions only help perpetuate that stereotype...that we are truly hooligans.kdf have been demonized as looters.i did not see the entire armed forces with tanks with truckloads of guns at the nation centre looking for writers and cartoonists.i have personal friends who are soldiers who found my cartoons on the westgate issue very offensive.sitting presidents are portrayed as thieves,election fraudsters and PEV suspects..i have done pieces on hooliganism of my club before..cartoonists are columnists and our artwork do not represent the views of that particular newspaper.My fellow fans...RELAX! You are CHAMPIONS ELECT! Wait for the SWEARING IN CEREMONY!There are many more people who will take a swipe at our achievement! We cant always respond to a mosquito bite with a hammmer!
