GBA Members: At the August 2, 2014 Directors meeting, the Board voted to move our membership information from the current manual spreadsheet to an online membership database. There are many advantages to moving to this new system. First, as we continue to grow as an organization, the job of managing the volume of member information has become very time consuming. Not only will the new system streamline this job, but our association leadership will have instant access to current member data in order to be able to communicate more effectively with the membership as a whole or with specific groups of members. A second benefit benefit is we will now be able to accept dues payments online via PayPal. Each member will also be able to access their member profile and update their contact information as needed. Most members will continue to have their membership renew on Sept 1 of each year. For those that have joined the GBA since Sept 1, 2013; your membership will renew on your anniversary date. We will also be able to move our registration for judging contests to the new system. This will make the signup process easier and more efficient. We are now in the process now of moving the membership information to the new system. We are working to complete this task as quickly and accurately as possible In the new few days, you should begin seeing emails coming from the GBA from our new system.
