GENDER INDICATORS - ISSUE 7, 26 August 2014 Release summary The seventh issue of Gender Indicators, Australia contains updates to indicators where new data has become available since the February 2014 release. Sixteen of the products 52 Key Series have been updated in this release, with updates usually flowing through to the Related Series and Detailed Information that often accompany a Key Series. This release will feature a new look for the publication which better facilitates on-screen reading. We have removed a lot of pages which are just links and this will allow users access to the data and other content more quickly. There will be a left-hand navigator to assist users locate content. As well the ABS is minimising the use of colour on the website so Gender Indicators is now much more black and white. The Living with a Disability commentary has also been updated with data from ABS Disability, Ageing and Carers, Australia: Summary of Findings, 2012 (cat. no. 4430.0). RELEASE TO WEB As part of the Gender Indicators release, the following products will be available on the ABS website: • Summary of Key Series • Latest highlights are now part of the main page and emphasise the most recently released data for each domain. • The Media release highlighting data from the ABS Labour Force Survey.
