Due to continued growth within our PNG section, we are seeking to fill 3 positions - General Foreman, Project Manager and Project Engineer (Contracts Administrator) to assist with a major commercial project in Port Moresby. The project duration is for approximately 18 months. Please see below for detailed criteria for each role. Please note that only those that meet this criteria will be considered: GENERAL FOREMAN - Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years + experience (Commerical / Residential Building Experience) • Previous Overseas or remote FIFO experience The ideal candidate will be happy and able to train the national work force and have a high level of communication skills. PROJECT MANAGER - Qualifications: • Minimum of 10 years experience within the Commercial / Residential Building Industry • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in a related field - highly advantageous • Previous Overseas or Remote FIFO experience The ideal candidate for this role will be able to oversee all aspects of the project and deal with pressure and deadlines in an effective manner. Must be a team player and willing to adopt the Matrix Systems and procedures whilst supporting our commitment to train the national workforce. Must be an effective communicator with previous experience managing large commerical projects. PROJECT ENGINEER (Contracts Administrator) - Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience within the Commercial / Residential Building Industry • Tertiary Qualifications in Construction Management and / or Quantity Surveying, or related field Typical duties include - Head Contract Administration, subcontract and supply agreement administration, international procurement of materials and resources, cost reporting, program reporting, processing of claim and variations and training national workforce. The ideal candidate will have a positive personality, whilst having a team work attitude, in line with our core values, and establishing respectful relationships with clients and all stakeholders. . For all 3 positions, the willingness to relocate to Port Moresby for the duration of the project would be preferable, however we will also offer Fly in Fly out (FIFO) rosters for the right applicant (depending upon location - East Cost of Australia is preferable).
