GENESIS35: GOD makes you need Him in the process of repentance. You may get a limp in the process. The very GOD Jacob was running from, he ended up wrestling with because he woke up out of a stupor and realized that he needed GOD. That evil spirit Jacob had in him derived from his mother, HELLO!!. Jacob feared his twin brother Esau because he knew he betrayed him for his birthrights. Esau was the firstborn twin. Jacob realized that the devil had a hold on him, on his mind, on his way of thinking, and he wrestled with that angel of GOD until it blessed him. He was not letting go until it blessed him. That angel blessed him alright, it slayed him in his hip and he got a limp, but the angel didnt kill him. That it was the LORD of LORDS, JESUS the CHRIST. We must not forget, JESUS was with GOD before the foundations of the world. He is the WORD that came to earth wrapped in flesh. GOD changed Jacobs name to Israel because he wrestled with the LORD and got BLESSED!!!!!! HALLELUYAH!!! Jacob repented!!!!!
