GEORGIA CONSERVATIVES The topic for this Wednesday, October 1, - TopicsExpress

GEORGIA CONSERVATIVES The topic for this Wednesday, October 1, will be Part II of a round table discussion regarding whether the United States should collaborate with Iran in defeating the Islamic State. Last Wednesday, we discussed the geography and the cast of characters. Clearly, the United States and Iran have a mutual enemy called the Islamic State or ISIL. However, Iran indirectly contributed to the rise of ISIL by supporting the Basher al-Assad regime. What are the hidden costs of our dealing with Iran in order to defeat the Islamic State? In subsequent weeks, guest experts will be invited to participate in other discussion topics. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, October 1, 2014, at the Wednesday Dinner Meeting of Georgia Conservatives. Georgia Conservatives meets every Wednesday at the Cherokee Cattle Co., 2710 Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30066. This is one-fifth of a mile south of the Wells Fargo Bank at the intersection of Canton Road and Piedmont Road in Cobb County. We are across Canton Road from the GA Firing Line. We generally meet in the glassed-in patio area as you enter the restaurant or in the banquet room in the very back of the restaurant. Please ask any of the wait staff to direct you to us. The food is great and is reasonably priced. Our weekly discussions and guest speakers are offered as a public service to all and all are welcome. Please SHARE this message and bring a friend.
