GEORGIA NEWS: Albany Most Wanted murder suspect arrested in Tallahassee TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- The US Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) has arrested an Albany, Georgia most wanted homicide suspect. 18-year old Demonta Price of Albany has been arrested on charges of first degree murder, felon in possession of a firearm, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and violation of parole on an original conviction of armed robbery. Authorities were looking for price after investigators say they determined that Price and his two brothers, 23-year old Demetrice Price and 20-year old Kovarious Price were involved in the brutal murder and robbery of Jamey Spurlock. Albany Police Department investigators say on the night of December 22, 2013, 35-year old Jamey Spurlock was changing a tire on Silica Road when Price and his two brothers confronted Spurlock, shot him and killed him during a robbery. Spurlock had 3 children and a fiancé. Both Demetrice and Kovarious Price are currently in custody in Albany, GA charged with Murder and Robbery. Demonta Price was named one of Albany’s Most Wanted and members of the US Marshals began searching for Price on January 6, 2014. On Wednesday, March 12, US Marshals investigators learned that Price was possibly hiding out with relatives in the Tallahassee area. FRFTF members tracked Price to the Rodeway Inn Hotel on North Monroe Street and arrested him. Price was taken to the Tallahassee Police Department.
