GET OTHERS EMPOWERED!!! TEXT: And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach. Mark 3:14 Our Lord, JESUS Christ’ Ministry brought so much results that multitudes followed Him everywhere He went. People from Galilee, Judea and from Tyre and Sidon (Mark 3:7-8). People followed Him and pressed on Him to touch Him. At that juncture, the Bible tells us that JESUS chose twelve disciples and gave them power to heal (Mark 3:13-19). That’s leadership. Leadership multiplies your effectiveness, relieves you of the burden of excess work and brings posterity to your work. God enlarges people who are willing to multiply themselves by mentoring others. More so, God reveals deep truths to people who would be willing to share them with the world. He said about Abraham: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment…” Genesis 18:19. This was the reason God told Abraham about His plans for Sodom. Men of the senses are always afraid to teach people things because they feel that if they do, they would no longer be relevant. Sadly, this has also crept into the Church. The altar is not spared. It’s common to see Men and Women on the Altar of Churches these days, “eat each other’s leg”. What a shame. On the other hand, when we help others become better, God promotes us! DO THIS: Look out for people within your sphere of influence that you can assist in having them realize their dreams and visions. Do it unreservedly. Do it unto God!!!
