GITAM Hyderabad Campus must be the 1st Choice: Director A veteran IIT ian, 37 years experienced Professor at IIT Madras- Dr. N.Siva Prasad, Director, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus has interacted with the heads of all the departments in the university on Saturday. He briefly explained about his tenure at IIT Madras. He recalled the remarkable services held there and the good memories with them. “Here in GITAM Hyderabad Campus the basic infrastructure is Excellent. Good foundations are laid in the past. We have to get a good name for academic excellence to this campus with dedication. We have to build up a team and work like a team for the success of the university. We should be prepared to compete with the counterparts in achieving academic recognition” the Director explained his view to the Heads of various departments. “From attendant to Director, each and every one has their own role to play for the success of University functions. We have to work hole heartedly. Chances will not come over night. We have to change our own thinking for progress” he advised. He categorically said that, every GITAM student should get a job by completing their education. “We have to focus on imparting practical skills more on this campus. GITAM Hyderabad campus must be the first choice to the aspiring engineering students. Motivation is very important for success. Motivate the students towards the progress and to pursue qualitative education” Prof. Siva Prasad suggested. Prof. M.Potharaju, Registrar, GITAM University, Prof. Ch.Sanjay, Principal, GITAM School of Technology, DVVSR Varma, Resident Director, Dr. N.Venu Kumar, Director, T&P and all HoDs are participated in the interactive session. All have welcomed the new Director to the GITAM family hole heartedly. They promised to play their role as much as possible for the holistic development of the students.
