GIVE THANKS TO OUR SAVIOUR LORD JESUS CHRIST When we complain - TopicsExpress

GIVE THANKS TO OUR SAVIOUR LORD JESUS CHRIST When we complain about our trials to others everyday, we will remain in those trials. If we choose to praise God despite of our present situation, if we thank Him for the things that He has done for us, we will be raised out of our miry pits. Complaining is a sin, it is a corrupt form of conversation that causes many of us a great deal of problems in our lives. It also opens many doors for the enemy to enter into our lives and rage havoc. Our words are powerful, the word of God says, that life and death are in the power of our tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) Instead of using our mouths to speak negative words about people or our trials and tribulations, say what God says, about you, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, do not cancel out your breakthrough with your negative words. Look for ways everyday to rejoice and give thanks to God for all that He has done for you, all that He is doing right now (behind the scenes), and the things that He will do for you in the future. (Philippians 4:13) Truly thankful people do not complain, they are too busy being thankful for the good things they do have, they have no time to notice the things they could complain about. Rejoicing and giving thanks open the door to life. (Proverbs 21:23) When you guard your words, you keep yourself from being ruined, you prevent destruction from coming into your life. Being thankful is a remedy for the poison of complaining, complaining weakens, whereas thanksgiving releases power to bring answers to your prayers. (Philippians 4:6) Being thankful shows us where we are in our spiritual walk, it indicates that we are spiritually mature enough to handle any type of promotion or increase. Giving thanks can also be seen as a sacrifice, if we do not feel like it, if our circumstances do not edict it, thanksgiving can become a sacrificial offering, made by faith, in obedience, because we love the Lord and want to honor His Word. Always give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercies are forever. (Psalms 118:29)
