GLBM MISSIONS TRIP UPDATE: Peter D. Judson arrived back in Mae Sot, Thailand this evening after being inside Myanmar, getting set up to re-enter the country with his family. He has been in America for the past seven years as a refugee but told me, I cannot stay in the U.S. I must return to our homeland to reach out to my people with the Gospel of Christ. In the past several days the Lord has helped him to finalize all the legalities and, while he was in his hometown, he has preached to over three hundred people. The people were excited to see him because he has not been back inside Myanmar in twenty years. Now we will re-enter Myanmar together, traveling across country through the Karen State high country over some treacherous roads, then visit the city of Malawmyine where Peter hopes to establish a new church, and go back to his home village to introduce me. We will make our way to Yangon where we will rendezvous with Dr. Peter Banfe of Crown College. Together we will visit many of our GLBM pastors and church-planters before returning to Mae Sot, Thailand (on the Burmese border) on December 15 where we will preach in a couple refugee camps and several Kayin tribal villages inside Myanmar, along the Moei River. Please continue to pray for souls. God is doing a wonderful work on this trip. Many souls have been saved already. We are counting on your intercessory prayer for us.
