GLOBAL KINGDOM INTELLIGENCE FORECAST A quarterly report from the Apostolic Council on Eschatology (ACE) October 2014 THIS QUARTER In this 4th Quarter report, we find that there has been an unusually high level of fear in the Church. Many different products have spurred this on. For example the reboot of Left Behind, which fell short of production costs at the box office, yet filled newsfeeds for months in the lead up. Also the much-anticipated Christian Zionism propaganda film, Let the Lion Roar, turned out to be stunningly bad, one of the worst-made “documentaries” of all time (released Sept 2014). The second (of four) blood moons came and went without any end-time significance, but the fear won’t be kicking into high gear until the Fall of 2015 with the approaching 3rd and 4th blood moons. Jonathan Cahn released his follow up to his best selling “The Harbinger,” entitled “The Mystery of the Shemitah.” This follow up contains material which will encourage fear around financial decisions. We would caution you, if you have older parents who are easily caught up in these conspiracy theories, make sure they are not making foolish economic decisions based on Cahn’s predictions. John Hagee, the famous Texas megachurch pastor who wrote The Four Blood Moons has over played his hand recently. He was recorded as saying that Ebola was God’s judgment upon America for dividing the Land of Israel. In response, Dr. Jonathan Welton of The Welton Academy responded with a 5 minute rebuttal video on his Facebook account which went viral. The atmosphere surrounding Hagee is one of crumbling credibility considering that only one American has died from Ebola. Clearly Hagee’s delusions are starting to carry less weight. Rick Joyner of Morningstar Ministries in North Carolina released a video about a horrific dream that he experienced. He spoke of ISIS terrorists sneaking across the Mexico/Texas border and doing unspeakable acts on Texas ranches. While this could truly be a dream from God, FOX News has been speaking of their fears regarding the border and terrorism for many months. It waits to be seen whether there is validity to this dream, but in the meantime, we join our prayers with Mr. Joyner that the borders would be safe and that both Americans and Mexicans would be at peace. THE INDEXES The Supernatural Index: While healings, prophetic words, and other manifestations of God are always going on, in this section our goal is to zero in on specific events or details. Currently this is a season for getting to know the Father’s heart. The Cross is being understood in new ways, and the story of the Prodigal Son is being brought to the forefront. The Freedom Index: The Messianic Movement has been consistently advancing and the ancient spirit of the Judaizers has re-emerged. Legalism has stepped back on to the playing field and many are falling into its grip. The anti-dote is understanding the Biblical Covenants, but this area has been weak for the rest of the Church. We foresee in the first two quarters of 2015 a major shift taking place where the topic of Covenant will be hotly discussed and debated. The Fear Index: While fear is running high, it is not at an all time high. The peaks of fear have centered around 1988(because of Edgar Whisenant), Y2K (because of Grant Jeffery), the 2008 US Presidential elections, and the NY Stock Market crash of 2009. If those events carried an index of 10, then the Church Fear Index right now is approximately at 7. Even in the midst of this level of fear, leaders are newly stepping out and bravely stating the unpopular truth such as Dr. Mark Chironna declaring on a recent Youtube teaching that the phrase “’Last Days’ in the Bible always means the end of the Old Covenant, that we are not in the Last Days, but the Early Church was.” We here at ACE applaud Dr. Chironna for his boldness. AREAS of OBSERVATION Dr. Lance Wallnau has been publishing a lot of futurism-based eschatology on his newsfeeds. As the major proponent of the Seven Mountains message, this is incongruent with the message God has given him. It will be interesting to see how this develops. It is not sensible to teach that we are to advance the kingdom and take the seven mountains, to then give them back to the antichrist. Dr. Wallnau is brilliant and we wish him the best and hope that a shift takes place before he loses the ear of his Millennial Generation followers. Dr. Cindye Coates has recently released her work on Matthew 24 as a fulfilled prophecy. This is a monumental breakthrough as there are very few resources from female preterist leaders. We here at ACE applaud her accomplishment. ON THE HORIZON Dr. Stan Newton is nearing completion of his follow up to Glorious Kingdom, entitled Glorious Covenant. As we will see in early 2015, the topic of Covenant is going to be central to many hot debates. This will be an excellent resource. The Welton Academy under Professor Jonathan Welton has swelled to over 700 students in 27 countries. January 2015 will be their second time through the course, Understanding the Whole Bible, which now will have the accompanying leather-bound 350 page textbook by Dr. Welton. This textbook presents material on the topic of covenant, which will make it one of the most debated books in 2015. The second-year class will be going through Dr. Welton’s newest book, The Seven Churches of Revelation, with videos filmed live on location in Turkey. This will be a major blow to the dispensational concept of the seven churches representing church history. The Apostolic Council on Eschatology is made up of nearly 20 major apostolic voices, which hold to the ACE Statement of Faith. More info is available at EndtimeCouncil/news.html Freely Share
