GLORY For our light affliction which is but for a moment, works for us a more exceeding and eternal weight of glory - 2 Cor. 4:17 Before the manifestation of a glory, there is a story behind it. Behind every story, there are moments of pain, struggles or toils. Gold doesnt become precious in its raw form, it must have be refined in the fire. Our life is like that of a gold, nobody can become great without having experienced some terrible past. You cannot experience glory or honor if you have not endured some difficulties. We all know that No sweat, no gain and this is true in all situation. Many people wants to succeed without struggling and this is impossible. What kind of difficulty are you experiencing that seem quitting or compromising is the only option? Dont give up on yourself because beside a cloud is a silver lining. Using the easy route cannot bring you a lasting glory or honor. Before Jesus name became powerful, He paid dearly for it on the Cross; He was ridiculed, beaten and crucified. The devil even offered Him temporal glory but He endured the struggles. I know how grievous your struggles are: the affliction, persecution, shame and ridicule youre facing because your life lacked an answer that youre being asked. For as long as the 3 Hebrew boys were able to overcome being bound and thrown into the fire, you will surely overcome. If you will not give up this time, glory awaits you. Remember Joseph, all he went through from age 17 before he became a prime minister at age 30. That situation has an expiring date if youd not give up. You need to be bold and courageous. Tough times don’t last but tough people do. Take your stand and stand for God. The beauty of your glory lies in you overcoming that problem. Endure it awhile because these things youre facing will pass. Ask for the grace not to give up. You will overcome all your struggles and Christ will be glorified in you in Jesus name.
