GLS Football Academy is proud to announce the first of its kind National Football Youth Programme partnership with the Chinese Government and its Ministry of Education. Yesterday, 4th January 2015 saw the collaboration finalised in Beijing with both parties meeting for the signing session. China has made football a main priority in developing healthy lifestyle and mass participation in sport, focussing on football across its schooling system in every Province Nationally, to enable participation, nurturing of talent and elite development. Director General of Health, Culture and Education Dr Wang Deng Feng commented, China Youth Football Academy Program is a nation wide program which covers all the Provinces in China. In the next few years, China will have 20,000 football schools operating, and the total young football population will reach up to 20million. GLS Football Academy Youth Program is a platform of globally recognised coached and legendary star players. To work with GLS, will bring in the international standard coaches and unique training programme accredited internationally. Mr. Jun FANG, Vice Deputy Director of International Department of the Ministry of Education stated, This partnership is the most important strategic Framework signed by Ministry of Education for the China Youth Football Academy Program, the biggest strategic sport project ever in China. GLS Football Academy will be drawing from its Global network of coaching talent, from multiple countries to deliver a high standard of coaching across all provinces in China, enabling a consistent programme to be implemented.
