GMA NEWS: SEPT. 5, 2013 Pinay mothers with undocumented children in KSA urged to cooperate with authorities Filipina mothers with undocumented children in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were asked anew this week to cooperate with the Philippine Embassy in presenting themselves to the Jawazat–Wafideen (deportation office) at Shumeisy District for fingerprinting. The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh lamented that of the mothers with undocumented children and who had undergone DNA testing, only 11 have so far cooperated this week. "The Embassy has already facilitated the repatriation of 105 mothers with their 131 children after grant of the exit visas by the Jawazat. So far, a total of 344 mothers have undergone the fingerprinting and over 200 are waiting for the issuance of their exit visas," it said. It added that except for 16 cases, all DNA test results have been released. According to the embassy, 120 mothers should present themselves for fingerprinting next week. The Embassy urged the remaining 120 mothers ready for fingerprinting to contact the Embassy through Ebrahim Zailon at 0559250419) for the fingerprinting schedule. — LBG, GMA News
