GOD HAS SEEN WHAT youre going through, it has not taken Him by surprise. Many times were being tested and other times its the enemy or our flesh kicking and screaming not wanting to die out, sometimes were part of the problem,, BUT always remember the Potter takes the clay out of the oven for a little while at a time and then puts it back in the oven of fire again to make it stronger to endure, thats when we no sooner are through a trial or test and a few days later were right back in it again. Gods allowing the heat to be turned up in order to season and train us for the days ahead and the purpose youre called for, but sometimes we give up to soon and start doing the wrong things or letting the enemy talk us into doubt and unbelief about the time the Spirit is ready to move on our behalf. HOLD ON BELOVED THIS IS NOT YOUR BATTLE ALONE BUT THE LORDS. Did not the Hebrew children get thrown in the literal furnace of fire and they did not bow to the situation or circumstances they were in at the time and God delivered them out of the furnace and the very ones that threw them into the fire were consumed by the fire!! Heres another good example: BUT the man of God was angry with him. You should have struck the ground five or six times! he exclaimed. Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times. (2 Kings 13:10-19). How often do we not see the importance of a thing and not enough zeal to press on in and trust God, but we do it half heartedly and dont receive all of what God is wanting to do for us? ................Joash the king came to Elisha, to recieve his dying counsel and blessing. Elisha assured the king of his success; yet he must look up to God for direction and strength. The trembling hands of the dying prophet, as they signified the power of God, gave this arrow more force than the hands of the King in his full strength, by taking the sign lightly the king lost the thing that was being signified (his complete victory). Elisha was angered at the lukewarmness of Joash, and his lack of faith and zeal. Elisha himself, from his higher standpoint, saw the greatness of opportunity , the abundance of favor which God was ready to grant the king, Elisha saw the way it was narrowed by Joashs want of receptiveness and lack of zeal. If the king had been earnestly desirous of victory, and had, had the faith in the symbolical action as divinely directed, the king Joash would have kept on shooting the arrows till the prophet told him it was enough or at any rate would have smitten the ground 5 or 6 times instead of 3. the victory would have been greater! And weve all been guilty of giving up too soon in prayer just when God was getting ready to move,..... it might have been just that 5 or 10 more minutes of prayer, smiting that situation, deliverance for that loved one, breakthrough in the finances but we for lack of zeal or determination or faith didnt go the extra mile like Joash didnt and only gain half the victory...PEOPLE GODS SPEAKING TO SOMEONE OR ONES RIGHT ABOUT NOW... ASK GOD FOR THAT ZEAL, THAT PERSISTENCE, THAT FAITH TO ENDURE FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IN JESUS NAME!!
