GOD SAYS “NO SUGAR DADDIES”. PROVERBS 15 (NIV) 17 Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred. 18 A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict, but the one who is patient calms a quarrel. 19 The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway. 20 A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish man despises his mother. 21 Folly brings joy to one who has no sense, but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course. FOCUS: Verse 17: “Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred.” GOD SAYS “NO SUGAR DADDIES”: This proverb warns of looking for short cuts in life. God is not against giving prosperity to those who love Him. He gives wealth to those He believes can handle it without risking their bond with Him. We never know what kind of person we might be if we got our way regarding our destiny. God is not a Sugar Daddy and He does not want us searching for human Sugar Daddies in the world - in marriage or business. He does not want us to use, and thereby obligate ourselves to people who are wealthy. Marry for love and the joy of like-minded companionship with a fellow believer. Become a business partner only with another person who puts God in high regard. You may end up with less, but strife and hatred with more is just not worth it.
