~ GODS WAR IS OUR WAR~ Gods war is our war . Why ? Because He is our Father. Gods war with Satan began in the first earth age and continues to this day. We see prophecy being ever more quickly fulfilled as this dispensation draws to a close. In His Word God compares this occurrence to labor pangs ever drawing closer and closer together. It is important that we be on Gods side in this war. Anything else would mean you are on the losing side . Study His Word so that you know exactly what we need to do in order to be on Gods side . lets begin this study in Zechariah . Much of this prophecy applies to this generation. Zec 9:8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes. *God takes care of His people. This nation has been victorious in many wars . It isnt luck . It is because God is encamped with us . He is on our side . Gods war is our war . In the next two verses we have the first and second advents Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. *Jesus brought salvation to this world of sinners when He paid the price on the cross. He will not be born into this world a babe to be crucified at the second advent. He will return with a rod of iron *Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. Zec 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. *Jesus will return King of kings and Lord of lords . He will establish His Kingdom here on earth. You may have an important role to play in the establishment of His Kingdom, if Gods war is your war. Zec 9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. *God will bring His people who are imprisoned by the traditions of men and false teaching out of the pit where there is no water , which is symbolic of TRUTH. Anyone who tries to keep truth from His children is an enemy of God, and they should be your enemy as well. Zec 9:12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; *Your strong hold had better be your Father. Double is the portion of blessings bestrowed on Gods firstfruits, the elect. This double portion allows you to be more effective planting seeds even today . Share the truth~ !! Zec 9:13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. * Ephraim represents the ten tribes. God is going to make all twelve tribes of Israel a weapon . Greece is Javon in the Hebrew . Javon is symbolic of all the enemies of God. The sword is truth ;{Revelation 1;16], We are utilizing that sword of truth to cut through the enemies of God now ; *Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. Zec 9:14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. *Do you think we have anything to worry about when God blows the seventh trump ? Those who come against us have a great deal to worry about . Those of us who are in Gods army are ready and anxious for this battle ! Zec 9:15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. *The horns of Power were at the corner of the altar. Gods elect will be so happy when the events come to pass that the enemy will think we are full of wine . God signals the action with the trumpet. Will you be ready? If you will focus on His Word , you will be ready. Zec 9:16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. Zec 9:17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids *Our Father is in control. If you are in good standing with Him, you have nothing to fear . In fact, Father blesses those He can trust to be on His side today. Zec 10:1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. * Did this verse say to stand outside and wait for it to rain? NO! If you want the latter rain , symbolic of truth , you ask God , and He will give you the truth. Why ? You are in His army. An army without intelligence isnt worth much. Zec 10:2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd. *The flase teachers and prophets comfort their flocks with false doctrine, such as the rapture . Their flocks have no shepherd because they have been led away from the True Shepherd , Jesus Christ. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when Jesus says I know you not whence ye are ; depart from me *Luk 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. Luk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. Zec 10:3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle. *Goats are symbolic of the false leaders /teachers of the flock. The true house of Judah wont be as sheep. They will be as war horses ready for battle. Zec 10:4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together. *Oppressor is a bad translation . The Hebrew word can also mean leader , or ruler . After all Judah is the King line. Zec 10:5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded. *The enemy will be confused . We have the victory because the Lord is with us > We have nothing to fear. Zec 10:6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them. *God loves His children , All Israel will be saved ! Zec 10:7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD. *Ephraim representing the ten so called lost tribes , {Ephraim of joseph which in the Hebrew means let him add} will also be strengthened . I say so called because God hasnt lost anyone ! Zec 10:8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. *The word hiss in this verse would be better translated signal . They have increased in number as God promised Abraham his seed would be as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is upon the sea shore. Zec 10:9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. Zec 10:10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. *God will gather His children out of captivity represented here by Egypt and Assryia , Of course the captivity of this generation will be none other than Antichrist. Zec 10:11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. *Ephraim , that is to say the the ten tribes , will do valiantly because God is with them . The Nile , symbolic of the lifeblood of Egypt shall be brought down because their will be only one King of kings Zec 10:12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD. *God loves His children and He will strengthen them, and they will walk in His Name , not the name of a false shepherd . *skip to Zechariah 11;15 Zec 11:15 And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. *Beware the false shepherd will come. Zec 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. *Antichrist , playing Jesus , doesnt really care about healing the sick or feeding the hungry . All he will care about is deceiving people into worshipping him. Zec 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. *Satan will come to nothing . Make certain you arent deceived into following the idol shepherd. *In conclusion, lets turn to the Book of Revelation. Ive read the back of the Book . Gods war is our war , and we win the war! Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. *At the end of the Millennium Satan will be loosed and gather an army of those that choose to follow him Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. *God is a consuming fire Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire. Satan and those who choose to worship him , rather than God , will be consumed in the Lake of Fire . Gods war is our war , and we win the war . IT IS WRITTEN ~
