GOD’S BEST PROMISES Text: Jeremiah 29:11 One of the best things you can have is the knowledge of God’s promises. When you know what God has promised you, you will look beyond any unpleasant situation and focus on His promises. Sometimes, what God promised you might appear to take time, but it will not lie. The reason why God’s promises are tied to His word is to bestow the status of infallibility on them. If God’s word cannot fail, God’s promises to you cannot fail. Today on SPIRIT SWORD, we look at the three (3) most important promises of God concerning your life. (1) MAKING HEAVEN The greatest promise of God to man is that of Heaven at last. When Jesus went back to Heaven, He promised to make a place for His own. There are many mansions in Heaven, but your place among those mansions is guaranteed when you become Born Again and live holy till the end. This is why what should matter to you above all else is making Heaven. And there is a guarantee that if we live in God’s will, we shall inherit the promise of eternal life. (2) FULFILLING DIVINE DESTINY With Heaven in place, God is committed to giving you a beautiful life and future here on earth. Success in life is a bus stop on your way to Heaven. You cannot be heading Heavenward and not pass through the place of success. If you understand this principle, you will remain faithful and faith-filled through any storm. If Heaven is your destination; no earthly situation is permitted to swallow you up. Divine health and healing, divine favour and provision, divine preservation and many more are components of your divine destiny. When you are in God and Heaven is your place, the devil or demon that will stop you does not exist. (3) GOD CANNOT LIE This is the peak of God’s promise – God is too truthful and faithful to lie (Heb. 6:18). God has never failed anyone and you cannot become his first casualty of failure. God’s chasers are victors and not victims. I do not know what God has promised you but yet unfulfilled. Hold on to God’s word; don’t let anything sweep you off the narrow way to Heaven. When God is involved, all is secured. Today, I decree, declare and prophesy that your life, family and destiny be overshadowed by God’s faithfulness. Everything that has stopped working in your life, I command in the name of Jesus, they now pick up and begin to work.
