GOD’S MESSAGE TODAY: “And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues, neither did they penance to give him glory.” ( Apocalypse 16:9 Douay-Rheims ) Where does this extreme and deadly heat that is creating dangerous conditions coming from? one may ask. The correct answer to this question, dear friends, will help us map out a response to this emergency situation as well as for the other disasters that have been plaguing us. “I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain, another had none and dried up.. yet you have not returned to me..” declares the Lord. “He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth – the Lord God Almighty is his name.” (Amos 4:7, 13 NIV ) Dear friends, God now commands all people everywhere, especially those in the United States of America, to repent and do penance for their past and present sins by fasting and praying for 14 consecutive days at a time. We are to abstain from eating any kind of food, that which caused the disobedience of man, for 2 sucessive weeks at a time in penance. I myself am on the 15th day of fasting and praying as of today being inspired by the Lord to fast for twice as much for a total of 28 days that leaves me 13 more days to go without food. I first had this spiritual experience while I was serving time at the medium security facility at Walla Walla, Wa in 1989. So this is God’s will for all of us, friends, and obedience to His will is a game changer that will relieve us from all of these tragedies that have been befalling us recently – economic recession and jobs, wildfires and tornadoes, the incidents at Newtown and Boston which are the works of the devil that only our Father can stop. Like the lost son in the parable, let us return to our Father whom we have offended much and because of His inexpressible love and compassion for us His children, He will meet us on the way of our return while we’re yet far off.
