GOOD TO KNOW... Toyota, Lexus, Scion dominate NADA price retention study Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles have a reputation for keeping their value through the years. So maybe it shouldnt be such a big surprise to learn that the three brands dominated a recent National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) study on vehicles’ retained value over time. Toyota or Lexus vehicles finished first in seven of the 19 categories of the study, Meanwhile, 24 Toyota, Scion or Lexus models finished in the top five of their respective categories. Toyota and Lexus first place finishers (and their categories) include: • 2010-2013 Toyota 4Runner – Mid-Size SUV • 2005-present Toyota Tacoma – Mid-Size pickup • 2007-present Toyota Tundra – Large Pickup • 2008-present Toyota Land Cruiser – Luxury Large SUV • 2008-2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid – Hybrid Truck and SUV • 2006-2013 Lexus IS – Luxury Compact Cars • 2011-present Lexus CT200H – Hybrid Cars
