GOOD (Tuesdays Devotional) The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. All of your works will thank you, Lord, and your faithful followers will praise you They will speak of the glory of your kingdom; they will give examples of your power. They will tell about your mighty deeds and about the majesty and glory of your reign. For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The Lord always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it. When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing. Psalm 145:9-16 Don’t let your circumstances or emotions determine your opinion of the goodness of God. He is and always will be the same. Unflinchingly in love with you... Committed to helping you discover and reach your potential... Intentionally nudging your heart to obedience... Lovingly whispering encouragement to your soul. Even when we don’t understand why Even when we don’t see the fruits of our labor Even when the skies grow cloudy and the rains fall in our lives Even when the enemy tries to convince us otherwise... God is good. I may not understand the world but God is good. Bad things may happen but God is good. I may feel life is unfair but God is good. I may not see the destination and get frustrated in the road to get there... But God. is. good. Do you believe that? Give Him thanks today.
