GOOOOOOOD news...Today I heard back from the used car dealership where I purchased my 2006 Beetle convertible and they ARE going to take care of the parts and labor to fix the windows problem. I had read the back of the extended warranty they gave me and it does state that power window/doors are not covered under the warranty, but I figured it didnt hurt to ask...They obviously want to make sure I am a very satisfied customer so they will do the work! They already contacted the service and parts dept. at the VW dealership for complete info and to order the parts. So, the $900.00 VW quoted stays in my bank account. Good!
