GOOoood Morning DC, the White house and that Post Turtle - TopicsExpress

GOOoood Morning DC, the White house and that Post Turtle sprinting, Executive Order printing, babbling broker of Progressively deepening, meadow muffin and pure cow pie; Short Bus Barry. Good Morning Sir! You do know what a Post Turtle is, now don’t you Sir? No, it ain’t something you would pick up going to school at Harvard, even if you ever actually did. While you may have never heard of it most of us country folks know exactly what it is. You know us farming and ranching folk and me being a big, ole, dumb, Okie, plough-boy sort of gives me the edge on you about this here one. A post turtle is something you see at the side of the rode every now and again out in the sticks. It’s a turtle, sitting with his belly, smack atop a fence post. His tiny little legs just a waving in the breeze and his neck all stretched out as he strains with all his might trying to get somewhere. Of course the poor little thing cannot get any purchase with his tiny feet not touching the post but he sure is going through all the motions. He gives it all trying to walk but he ain’t achieving a dang thing. It really is a silly sight and a tad laughable if not cruel. You see as funny as those turtles look, we country folks know he ain’t going anywhere with all his erratic efforts on that post. That turtle probably has no clue of how he got there, why he is up there and what he is going to do up there but as foolish as he seems; it took a fool or a bunch of fools to put him up on that post in the first place. Speaking of herds of turtles; how is that effort to save that allegedly endangered tortoise out in Nevada territory going for you, Mr. Super Environmentalist? I know but do you? Your current Bureau of Land Management (That is what BLM stands for Barry, if you didn’t know) against the Bundy Ranch is a huge undertaking. All those armed ‘Rangers’, trucks, backhoes, helicopters, and ATVs roaring all over that territory trying to round up the Bundy’s cattle have probably decimated more land and tortoises than the Bundy’s have, since they started raising cattle out there in the beginning and then some. Sort of defeats the propose of going out there in the first place spending all our tax dollars on land that ain’t being used for anything else anyhow. Yes Sir I know, you hate critical thinkers. Sort of explains why you have none in your administration. Now I have been going through all the legal garbage surrounding the case but I am no lawyer; of course you are not anymore, either or were you for that matter. If you were, one would think you would have defended your fictitious name fraud on your Bar Exam better instead of just surrendering your license to avoid prosecution. Being as you are not so good at defending yourself or your actions, based on just about everything in your 6 year history as President alleged, I am real excited to see just how your going to defend the actions being taken out there. See while you may think that BLM has everything in hand, there is a growing number of folks that do not take kindly to BLM’s actions or even their very presence out there. My advice would be you be a nice guy and leave them folks alone. We are more than happy to make a Federal Case out of this and if the government is claiming ownership of the land, then I guess that means the government will be assuming each and every liability for ‘owning’ that land. Yeah, the law is real clear on that. The claim of ownership includes the liability of personal injury. So if that is how this is to be played we have a whole bunch of personal injury cases from a whole bunch of Public Land that you now claim ownership to. The Federal Government never ‘owned’ that land for that reason. It simply managed the land in Public Trust. We the people own that land not the Government or the ‘state’ but you have your own ideas about that and other things, although none of them have been very smart or sane. We can go this way, I don’t care we can go this way all day. You see being the Post Turtle you are you may put on a real good show up on that post but you ain’t getting down from that post alone. Depending on how you react to such advice is a bit like how some compassionate soul might react to getting one of the Post Turtles off of that post. I mean we all know it ain’t getting down without some help and if it stays up there long enough it will just dry out or starve sitting up there. I guess it really all depends on the turtle now, don’t it. I mean for me if the turtle just calmly lets me pick it up and place it on the ground he can go on about his turtle business. It depends on the turtle though if it will go that way or if he snaps at me; then he will probably get taken down with a baseball bat. After all, he’s just a damn turtle….
