LCRP Organizational Meeting – A big “Thanks” to Judge Trey McClendon for swearing us in and to Pastor Steve McMeans of Indiana Ave. Baptist Church for the invocation. The LCRP is a fierce block walking machine ready to take on the enemies of Liberty here in Lubbock and all over the country. 4th on Broadway – Wow, we had a great crowd for decorating the float and then participating in the parade. Too many to list here. Float looked great and then a big group dinner at JJJ Chophouse. We had a gaggle of parents, kids, Precinct Chairmen, LARW, Young Republicans, horses, and even candidates participating by decorating the float or actually being in the parade. A special thanks to Tax Assessor Collector Ronnie Keister for delivering and driving the float (trailer). The McDougal’s donate the trailer to create a float every year. My horse trailer blew a tire so “Thanks” to Detective John Barber of the Lubbock Mounted Police for getting my horses back to the stable and “Thanks” to Chad Read for recovering the horse trailer on Saturday. Thank you to the Greg Abbott team for manning the booth at the street fair and finally, Thanks to Lisa Sawyer for coordinating so much. She’s still real sick but manages to fight through it and get it done! Newsletter Listings & Sponsorships – These are SOLD OUT through the election in November.
